Last week marked the end of The Working Title, A 32-artist group survey of recent abstraction at the Bronx River Art Center organized by Progress Report.
A 92-page full color catalog of the show with essays by artist Shirley Kaneda and independent curator Jon Lutz is now available on Blurb.Progress Report, born out of the more casual artist posts presented on KCLOG, was founded just over a year ago. It is a visually-driven project dedicated to artist features, studio visits and is intended as a general curatorial resource.
Progress Report aims to allow the categories of art-making to fall by the wayside by presenting a glimpse of the creative process that offer various perspectives with open-ended possibilities from the working artist’s point of view.
