Peekskill, Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art: in.flec.tion

On Sunday Feb 28th, KCLOG joined a pack of New York artists to celebrate in.flec.tion at the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art.

Here is a part of the press release. "Showing 13 artists who have nothing in common, except that they meet monthly to critique each other's work. These discussions are open, incisive, tough, fair, generous and tremendously helpful.

There are no gallerists or curators included. The meetings are about making art and the unwavering commitment to make the best possible art and to extend ones insights through intensive discussion and trust of each other.

IN.FLEC.TION is their show, curated among themselves, installed together and proudly exhibited by HVCCA
."

This artist driven conversation and support is something KCLOG is very excited about.

Artists include: Justin Allen, Kadar Brock, Michael Brown, Aaron Johnson, Amy Myers, Mike Nemire, John Newsom, Don Porcella, Jason Repolle, Andrew Sendor, Adam Stennett, Helen Verhoeven and Bryan Zanisnik.

The show was shot gorilla style, so unfortunately we could not get everyone. Hat's off though to a good idea for a great show.
