VOLTA NY

KCLOG attended the VOLTA NY fair on Friday to check out the solo projects. After cruzing the fair and meeting up with old friends we snapped pics of three artists the we though really stood out. First is Heather Cantrell at Kinkead Contemporary. Heather uses the booth to sent up a full on photo shoot to continue her project A STUDY IN PORTRAITURE.




Next up is Holly Zausner at Wohnmaschine. The images are comeposed of small photographs cut out one at a time by hand. They are at once photographic and abstract, which is an intersting line to walk.

Finally, we liked the paintings of Jered Sprecher . We featured his New York solo show at Jeff Bailey Gallery last year, and we were excited to see these strong, new works available at Steven Zevitas Gallery.
