New Contributor: Michael Markwick

We are pleased to introduce the American-Dutch, EU-based painter Michael Markwick as a new contributor to KCLOG. Michael received his MFA from Indiana University, lives & works in Berlin, Germany and the Netherlands where he has been exhibiting internationally since 2002. His upcoming solo show of new drawings, The Periphery Rising, will open at Kunst in Kreuzberg, February 19th in Berlin.

Culver City Openings January 16, 2010

Culver City was jam packed last Saturday with openings at Honor Fraser, Blum & Poe, Cherry & Martin and inaugurating sweet new spaces for Western Project and Angles. The crowds were over the top and a great time was had by all. Tom LaDuke's awesome paintings and sculptures at Angles were a major highlight.
